In 2013, while serving as a sub-divisional magistrate in Gautam Buddha Nagar, she led raids to stop illegal sand mining. Durga Shakti Controversy
| On 28 July 2013, she was suspended by the UP Government for demolishing a wall of an under-constructed mosque in the Kadalpur village of Uttar Pradesh. The government said that she was suspended for causing communal tension, and she had no authority to demolish that wall and filed a charge sheet against her.
